Having trouble identifying where your network is breaking down?

Has it been a while since your network was certified?

Was it ever certified?

Take the guess work out!

Let our technicians certify your network.

Many companies are ordering category 5 networks and they aren't even sure why. Category 5 cable is supposed to be certified up to 100 Megabits/second vs. Category 3 which is the old 10 Megabit standard. What allows 100 Megabits/second speed is the type of cable, the type of connectors, and the installation method. How the cable is installed is as important as using the correct material. How do we know each cable will operate at Cat 5 specifications? By testing with meters designed for that purpose.

The expense of Category 5 cabling is multiplied when the network is improperly installed and hasn't been certified! In effect, an improperly installed Cat 5 network is really an expensive Cat 3 network!

The customer should get a certificate, indicating that all cables were tested, which parameters were tested, what the test results were, and whether or not each cable passed certification.
